World’s largest single train crude distillation column berths at Dangote Oil Refinery in Lagos.
The China-buit column weighs 2250 MT (excluding internal trays), 112.5 m long, 14m wide and 13.75m tall.
It will fractionally distill about 650,000 Barrels Per Day, that is incredible and a boost to Nigerian econoy in the nearest future.
This, all things being equal, should bring fuel importation in Nigeria to an abrupt end and boot electricity generation around its base when fully operational.
I just hope National Geographic are documenting all these as the 9th wonder of the world from Africa. I would watch the shit out of it.
